Privacy

Your data never leaves your wrist.

Last updated · 13 June 2026 · beta

Aplomb is built privacy-first. The app runs without servers and without an account. This isn't a marketing line — it's how the product is engineered.

1. Health data stays on your devices

To work, Aplomb reads physiological signals from Apple Health (HealthKit): heart rate, heart rate variability, resting heart rate, respiratory rate and sleep. Your own data (sessions, baselines, results) is stored on your device and synced only through your private, end-to-end encrypted iCloud (Apple CloudKit). We operate no server that receives it. We never see it.

2. This website

This site (aplomb.pages.dev) sets no cookies, runs no trackers, and loads no third-party analytics. It is static and hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which may process basic, aggregated request logs (e.g. IP address) for security and delivery, as any web host does.

3. Joining the beta

When you tap “Join the beta”, your email app opens a message addressed to us. If you send it, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write (for example your name and watch model). We use it only to manage the TestFlight beta and reply to you. We don't add you to any marketing list. Ask us and we delete it.

4. Analytics in the app

During the beta, the app includes no third-party analytics SDKs. If we ever add product analytics, it will be privacy-preserving, contain no health data, and be disclosed here before it ships.

5. Your rights

Under the GDPR and similar laws, you can access, correct, export or erase the limited data we hold (your beta email). For health data, you remain in control directly on your device. To exercise any right, email us.

6. Children

Aplomb is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 16.

7. Changes

We'll post any update on this page with a new date above.
